BY FAR AMBROSIA HAS THE BEST CHOICES OF FILAMENT IN ASA. GREAT STUFF AND PRINTS CLEAN. THANK YOU...
Been using the plain Tungsten Cabide for a while now, and theyre great. But the AlTiN coated nozzle has been giving me issues. Ive had to declog it every few days, and when I just took a toch to it (not a problem for incoated tungsten carbide), it ruined the coating and now having all sorts of issues with retractions and consistency.
Hello! Thank you for the feedback- that’s certainly not what we like to hear! The new AlTiN coated nozzles should work without those issues! Please reach out to us via email or our discord server and open a support ticket so we can issue a replacement.
Shipped quickly, was a quality part that got me up and running again. Not much more to be said.
Was a 43yr resident in Beaverton. Curious about all techie stores so I popped into this one and really was taken back by what services they provide. I enjoyed a small conversation about their products and services. Even was excited to learn about their in-house filament (Ambrosia) and bought a spool of Pink PLA. Quality of the filament was great. I had no issues thus far.
I only recently received my kit so I've barely begun assembling it. So far, I've found all the required kit components are in the box. The links provided by West3D have led me to information I need to proceed with printing the required 3D-printed parts. The assembly manual is clear. I'm looking forward to getting started with the assembly once the part printing is completed.
I really like Ambrosia ASA filament, in both the regular and the sparkle versions. It prints well, has reliable thickness, and some very nice colors. It's hard to wrong with this stuff.
I like these LDO door kits and they work well, but the door panel sealing strips are too thin for the provided panels. The rubber strips remain loose, the panel vibrates, and the strips fall out. I have these on all three Voron printers and I still recommend the kit.
I used some of these for a small ~130mm bed slinger for funsies. These worked out great and were a lot better than the typical cheap rails I've used before. These may be my new goto rails.
Coming from a generic mic6 plate to a Lightweight Labware plate + edge to edge heater + kinematic mounts, first layer is VERY good. I can't say it's 100% the plate or the mounts or the combo.
I went with the aluminum mounts and it the product is quite nice feeling. The kit came with everything I needed and install was smooth. Bed drops right into place now. The springs seem to allow for the use of TAP without having to get outriggers or the such. For $50, worst case it make me feel better that tacoing is not going to an issue on a 350mm V2.4
Initial feel is nothing special. Applies just fine and the little extra around the edge makes it nice for slight misalignment and trim. It's got an odd "automotive" smell vs the generic ones when heated. I can't pin it down but it's different. It's not a bad smell but just kind of more rubbery. Hold works just fine but I didn't have an issue with my old generic magnet sheet so.
Got these panels in blank black for my Voron 2.4 350mm. Fit was great and they look gooood! I was using the OG coroplast so the added rigidity of these was very welcoming. Made the printer feel that much more refined. I don't know if I'd get this if you already have ABS panels, but I'd recommend them if you've got something worse or want that fancy laser engrave service.
I really like this for moving the box turtle around. I am running mine via USB and a separate 24v psu so it makes it really easy to disconnect and put on another printer or just out of the way for maintenance/etc. This kit comes with what you need minus printed parts. One note, mine DID come with the cable for the Turtle Neck. It's not shown in the picture but was in the box. Also something to mention, if you're running via USB, you do need to FIRMLY press that sucker in. I thought I had a few issues with USB cables or the board itself only to find out I needed to use some more effort. Pretty happy for the price and quality of life upgrade. This should probably be a standard part in the kit.
Redid my 300mm v2.4 and this cleaned up the electronics nicely. Now I have more room and power for upgrades.
Love the mini fridge door. Can confirm extrusions are about 2mm too long. Either the top or bottom won’t be flush but no one will notice unless specifically looking. Assembly was good.
Handy to have a ruler with wire gauges and rpi pins. Only wished it had a hole to hang up but perfect otherwise!
Wanted to get more air flow for printer with Dragon hotend. Usually I need to open the enclosure for PLA so not heat creep. This fan solves that issue!
Needed some Prusament galaxy black to finish a project. And this was a close match for better price!
Extremely easy to set up on Klipper and even easier to use. Having bed meshes run in the blink of an eye is amazing. Watching the toolhead just glide over the bed plate is so mesmerizing that you could watch it all day.
This is the little fan that could. Runs like a champ and is borderline dead silent about it. The Tach is really cool to me. Mine is paired with a rapido 2f, and Orbiter 2.5 with O2 toolboard. I couldn't be any happier.
